Studies on the Paeoniae Radix in Korea (Ⅱ)

Abstract
|

|
From the methanolic extracts of paeony root, pale yellow amorphous crystal was isolated. and it gave white crystal of m.p. 165~168℃ by acetylation.
Pale yellow crystal is supposed to be terpenglycoside through physical and chemical properties and it´s acetylated compound is lightly different from paeoniflorin pentaacetate in melting point and thin layer chromatogoram.
